The research interests of C. Randall Truman span fluid mechanics, thermodynamics and gas dynamics, resulting in more than seventy publications.  Turbulent and compressible flows have been a focus of his research that includes collaborations with colleagues from biology, pharmacy science, optical science and physical chemistry. Dr. Truman is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the American Physical Society (APS) Division of Fluid Dynamics (DFD), and an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA).
