The winning teams were announced at the Awards Reception and Banquet at the Crowne Plaza Albuquerque. $75,000 in total prize funds were awarded to the aspiring entrepreneurs for start-up funding.
Three students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering were among the winners in the Technology Ventures Track: Joshua Martinez (BSME), Evan Reynolds (BSME), and Victor Ayon (Alumnus, BSME 2014). Their company, Obvious Engineering, won the VanDyke Software, Inc. 3rd Place prize of $15,000.
