Graduate Application Info

Students should apply to both the University of New Mexico (UNM) as well as to the Nanoscience and Microsystems Engineering program (NSME). Students can apply to UNM by following this link: http://www.unm.edu/apply/. International applicants should apply by following this link: http://geo.unm.edu/admission_graduate.html

Once this application is completed students can begin the ME application(link to form). To apply to NSME students must provide:

  • ME Application
  • Copy of all transcripts
  • Copy of GRE score
  • (One) IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge CPE or CAE (International Applications)
  • Three letters of recommendation.
  • Personal statement (250 words describing why you want to pursue this degree)
