Kumar Anurag, a Ph.D. student in The University of New Mexico Department of Mechanical Engineering, received a student grant award to attend the International Federation of Automatic Control’s Modeling, Estimation and Control Conference. He is among a small group of recipients selected from 120 global applicants for their promising research in the field.
Anurag will attend MECC 2025 this October in Pittsburgh. He will present the paper titled, "RCUKF: Data-Driven Modelling Meets Bayesian Estimation,” which proposes a hybrid framework integrating reservoir computing with unscented Kalman filtering for nonlinear state estimation.
